Program Highlights
During the program, which runs 10 weeks in the U.S., India, EMEA and APAC, summer interns in all regions and across different lines of business will participate in dynamic programming consisting of:
- A senior speaker series
- In-person and virtual technical, financial and professional learning & development
- Formal and informal networking events
- Mentoring activities with assigned senior and peer mentors
- A strategic business challenge
- End-of-summer presentations to respective business stakeholders
Eligibility
- Enrollment in a four year undergraduate (U.S.) or full-time undergraduate (UK) degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors
- Rising senior (U.S.) or penultimate year students (UK) during summer of 2023
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (U.S.) or 2:1 (UK)
- Well-rounded and balanced background including demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Should not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply

Risk and Compliance
Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Compliance helps ensure BNY Mellon's businesses maintain appropriate processes to comply with applicable laws, regulations, BNY Mellon policies and ethics. This is accomplished through business - and business partner - specific teams of professionals, under centralized global management.

We are a centralized trading organization that provides execution and other trading related services on behalf of our internal asset management boutiques. The Execution Services team is primarily based out of Boston, with traders and support throughout the US and Hong Kong. In addition to our traders, we have a dedicated Trade Advisory team that brings quantitative insights and automation to our trading strategy and infrastructure.
